New Video: "When My Time Comes"

This is the first concert video we have of "When My Time Comes" from Treasures in My Chest. A big thanks to Andrew McKnight & Beyond Borders bandmate Les Thompson who is also the Technical Director at our local Franklin Park Arts Center. To be able to capture video like this in-house was impossible before the pandemic, and they've worked hard to bring some high-quality broadcast ability to our hometown's showcase venue.

In addition to a little slidey mischief, this one includes a lovely tribute at the beginning of interest to friends and dear ones of the late Chris King, and anyone whose been in that sacred building now owned and beloved by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Loudoun.

Andrew wrote this on Facebook; "I miss Chris King - a hell of a human being, and a friend for many years. Whatever Great Beyond he flew to, I am sure that his dear Dene is there with him. I'm glad to have been there in 2019 at his memorial, and grateful that he inspired this song too. There's a bit more to the story, and I'm happy to have it captured on film told reasonably well. My slide was a little shaky after that, but I think in the grand scheme of things, a little extra emotion to it is just fine."

Filmed live at the Franklin Park Arts Center in Purcellville VA, 7/19/22. The song starts around 4:20; first few minutes is tribute to the late Chris King, his friend who inspired the song, and who was the ticket office person at Franklin Park for many years.
