We were pleased and honored to find that One Virginia Night earned Andrew and his Beyond Borders bandmates two award nominations in the latest Washington Area Music Awards. The band was nominated for Best Contemporary Folk Duo/Group, and OVN for the Best Contemporary Folk Album. Andrew, Les, Stephanie and Lisa made the trip to the State Theater in Falls Church VA for the awards ceremony and concert February 17th, and greatly enjoyed catching up with many friends from around the region as well as some fabulous performances.
While those awards went to other deserving recipients, we are grateful and humbled by the continuing enthusiasm of many Washington area musicians and music industry pros over this last decade. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and thank you to WAMA for another great night celebrating the rich and diverse musical culture of our nation's Capital region.
