During their recent performance on the syndicated public radio show "Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour", our pal Vince Herman and his bandmates in Great American Taxi shared their rendition of "Made by Hand". Thanks a ton y'all! Vince has devoted a lot of his time and energy to ending mountaintop removal and their fans on the jamband circuit have been responding to the message, and their version of our song. You can see and hear their version in the Woodsongs video podcast (episode 613) - the music starts at around 44 minutes (and they give Andrew a shout out at about 42:20 :).
You can hear or download the original version of "Made by Hand" that Chance McCoy, Les Thompson and Andrew wrote and recorded for the Still Moving Mountains CD below. It also appears in two sections of the recent documentary Low Coal, produced by Jordan Freeman along with Executive Producer Mari-Lynn Evans (producer of the 3-part PBS series The Appalachians and Coal Country).
