After an autumn hiatus with each working on other projects, Andrew and his bandmates Les Thompson, Stephanie Thompson and Lisa Taylor have spent the winter in the studio writing and arranging new material for the band's first studio recording. Those new songs will be part of their upcoming short tour through western Virginia March 23-25.

Lisa has a beautiful new mandolin, and Les has one Cajun accordion in hand and another on the way. The rehearsals have been great, the new songs rock, and several months away from the stage seem to have brought new musical influences into their already eclectic genre-bending stew.

They also have been working on the mixing and production of the film footage from their last concert at Franklin Park Arts Center

Catch Andrew McKnight & Beyond Borders March 23rd at the historic Barter Theatre in Abingdon, the 25th at the newly renovated Wayne Theater in Waynesboro, or later this spring at shows and festivals near home in Loudoun County.
